MALICIOUS news media are spreading false information, claiming that security forces burned down Ohntaw and Kahnyat villages near Sinphyukyun in Magway Region.

A security official confirmed that this news is not true. Terrorists are disturbing peace by extorting money, forcing people to join them, and threatening civilians. They are also burning the villages that do not support them.

Security forces are working to keep the area safe. However, malicious news media are using fake images to spread lies and mislead the public about security forces.
