CONTESTANTS from regions and states bound for the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition 2022 arrived at the Nay Pyi Taw Transit Centre yesterday morning.
Health staff of the Public Health Department performed medical checkup on the contestants under the Covid-19 Contestants to Performing Arts Competition arrive in Nay Pyi Taw protocols. Those contestants were accommodated at relevant hostels and officials arranges measures for convenience of the contestants.
A total of 103 contestants came from Kachin State, 93 from Kayah State, 110 from Kayin State, 77 from Chin State, 108 from Mon State, 100 from Rakhine State, 113 from Shan State, 139 from Sagaing Region,187 from Bago Region, 170 from Magway Region, 222 from Mandalay Region, 252 from Yangon Region and 203 from Ayeyawady Region. More contestants from Taninthayi Region will arrive there on 10 October.
The Ministry of Information opens a library at the administrative hall for contestants to read books. The Ministry of Health opens western and traditional medicine clinics to provide healthcare to the contestants.
