THE Myanmar delegation, led by Chairperson Daw Sanda Khin of the Myanmar Cultural Heritage Preservation Group, returned to Yangon by air yesterday morning. Their mission was to secure recognition of Traditional Myanmar New Year Water Festival, Thingyan, in UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage list.
