UNION Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar Dr Md Monwar Hossain in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Both parties discussed bilateral cooperation between the two nations, the peaceful movement of people across their shared borders, ongoing efforts to receive displaced persons from Rakhine State, Myanmar's progress in verifying individuals intending to return from Bangladesh, preparations in place for their repatriation, and collaborative efforts between the two countries to ensure the successful reception of displaced persons.
