A Nepal-Myanmar digital transformation partnership event was held at the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw to share Nepal’s experience in implementing the Public Audit Management System (PAMS).

The event was attended by Union Auditor-General Daw Naing Thet Oo, the deputy auditor-general, the permanent secretary, the Nepali ambassador, experts and representatives from both countries.

In her remarks, the auditor-general said the event would help strengthen the use of digital technology in Myanmar’s public audit system.

The programme included a video message from the Nepali auditor-general, presentations by Nepali ICT experts on the planning, implementation and evaluation of PAMS, and a question-and-answer session.
