1. The Myanmar National Human Rights Commission was reconstituted under Order No. 3/2020 dated 14 January 2020 of the Office of the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
2. Since the commencement of its functions until February 2020, the Commission has received a total of 377 complaints and its inquiry team has examined 693 complaints, including the previous 316 complaints remaining to be addressed, at its 14 meetings and acted as follows:

The Ministry of Health and Sports organized the 44/2020 coordination meeting in video conferencing in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, linking with regional level health authorities, to discuss updated measures against the Covid-19.
Union Minister Dr Myint Htwe first appreciated the strenuous efforts of health officials across the country in containment measures against the pandemic, and acknowledged effectiveness of regular video conferencing.
He advised to send medicines and medical items to the respective areas immediately.

A woman tour guide aged 60 was confirmed by the authorities yesterday that she is positive for the Covid-19 infection.
The local authorities in Pakokku sprayed disinfectant at a restaurant in the town where the tour guide and seven French tourists had lunch on 17 March during their visit to the town.

FOOD assistance from Chin State Government and a social organization arrived in Tiddim, Chin State, yesterday, according to the local Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Information.
The aid includes rice, cooking oil, beans and salt.

The National Health Laboratory (Yangon) has tested the samples of 62 patients who are quarantined at the hospital, and the laboratory confirmed at 11 pm on 27th March, 2020 that three patients mentioned in the table-1 are having with Coronavirus infection. The remaining 59 patients have no infection.
