Myanmar plans to export a monthly average of more than 200,000 tonnes of rice in the three-month period (October-December), U Ye Min Aung, the president of the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) said at an MRF’s online press conference on 23 September.

A total of 452 Myanmar workers were sent to Thailand via the Myawady-Mae Sot friendship bridge under the MoU system on 22 September. Those MoU workers were recruited by eight overseas employment agencies, including Grand Asia Force, Pyae Wa San, Shwe Myanmar Aung, Royal Four Sea, Myint Mo Chan Tha, Gold Silver Diamond, Pyae Paing Hmu and Shwe Labpwint agencies.
